Exhibition Design: Überwoman

Überwoman

The name of this exhibition "Überwoman" comes from Nietzche's concept of the Übermensch, coined by artist and performer Valentine de Saint-Point—that which serves to describe the spirit of the feminist futurism.

This hypothetical exhibition showcases works by female artists, performers and writers whose creations aim to deconstruct social perception of women—that being weak and docile, in order to redefine the role of the female through aggression, grace and technology.

This project includes an exhibition catalogue (wrap-around hardcover, perfect bound and flushed cut), an event poster and several mock-ups.

All materials, visual and textual were self-curated.
2016.
