youth: branding illustration

In 2021, I worked with the team at Buck to develop a visual system that centered around gen Z consumers. The project was commissioned by one of the tech giants for their internal research department.

Since the visual style needed to reflect the aesthetic of gen Z youth culture, the client wanted a style that steered away from corporate branding. So the challenge was to devise a system around something that may not necessarily look like it has parameters.

Each of the designers created a character to serve as the basis for our lifestyle and visual reference point.

We also adapted the visual style into different objects that seemed appropriate to the theme and could be added to the tool kit.
